Café Gourmet Sierra Azul is an organization of 265 smallholder producers living in more than 30 communities in different municipalities of the Sierra Chiapaneca such as Capitán Luis Ángel Vidal, Siltepec, Ángel Albino Corzo, Montecristo de Guerrero, La Concordia and Villa Corzo. The communities are located in the buffer zone of El Triunfo Biosphere Reserve. This protected area preserves one of the richest ecosystems in biodiversity in Mexico that protects 10 types of vegetation out of the 19 existing in Chiapas.
